JoAnna and I were talking the other day about our upcoming trip to Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks. Although we are really excited about the birds and wildlife we will see in these two iconic places we are even more excited to see El Capitan. It is difficult to understand the magnitude of this granite rock formation. Yet after a quick search on Google for "scale of El Capitan" I found the picture below that someone had created. It shows some man made structures inserted next to the granite face of El Capitan. If this is true to scale then we are in for a real jaw dropping moment.
